Education - I attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I received a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Experience - I began my work with children at Nature's Way Montessori School in Louisiana. MY love for working with children led me to pursue my degree in Education. After graduating, I moved to Chattanooga and taught at Little Miss Mag daycare center. In 2005, I began teaching pre-k for HCDE at Children's Home/Chambliss Shelter. After two years, I was able to move to Red Bank Elementary I continued pre-k for a total of seven years. I am currently in my seventh year of teaching second grade.

Bio - I am from Monroe, Louisiana. I am the youngest of seven children. When I was 23 years old, I decided to move to Birmingham to finish college. I had been coming to Chattanooga with a friend to visit since high school. After moving two hours away, my visits became more and more frequent. I always loved it up here in the mountains! Once I graduated from UAB, I moved here to start my career. Red Bank Elementary is a wonderful place to work. I have grown so close to my colleagues here! They are truly amazing and have become some of my closest friends!
